• Spherical Valves: Often these valves are installed as shut-off valves for high-pressure applications. These valves are installed at the end of the penstock in the turbine. This penstock is often placed at the beginning of the turbine. In short, spherical valves are used for high-pressure pump and turbine inlet valves.
